First Airplane Ride

We took an unexpected trip to Salt Lake City, Utah from Saturday, August 26 through Tuesday, August 29 to attend Cheri's Grandfather, Merrill Heward's, Funeral. Alton was able to meet his Grandparents, Aunts, and Uncles on Cheri's side of the family as well as a few of his cousins. We managed to get up to the Ranch for one night of grilled steaks and star gazing in addition to a brisk morning walk up the river bed along the pipeline in the high mountain air. Alton was a champ on the plane and did a great job adjusting to a demanding 4-day schedule.
