Christmas Tree Quest
We broke with family tradition this year and rather than heading to Home Depot for our super value 5-6ft Noble Fir for $29 we actually went to a tree farm to make our selection. Alton wore his boots and flannel for the outing and was content to snuggle as we began our quest. He was asleep shortly thereafter and stayed that way as Cheri and I spent 40-minutes trying to convince ourselves one of the trees would be "just fine." We couldn't do it, so left empty handed. We then headed to Taco Time for a "traditional" holiday lunch.
Lunch was clearly Alton's favorite part of the day. It was warm, he was fed, and his Mama kept getting his neck!

You will notice, when he was again needed to help with tree selection he defaulted to sleep! Of course this is probably best with the already strong opinions on the subject held by his mothers. Luckily, Home Depot came thru for us again this year with a winner tree.
