Petting the Animals

Alton enjoyed watching and interacting with the other children at the zoo as much as any animals.

Once this gazelle caught his attention the two of them drew a crowd. Every time Alton touched her ears the gazelle would flip her ears as if she were flicking off a fly. He roared with laughter for a good five minutes as they went back and forth. If I learn to post video clips this will definitely be one of my first posts.


He practiced touching "gently" as they visited the different animals in the petting zoo.

The rhino was the most patient and still participant.
