Nursery Progress

It seems we have finally turned the corner towards forward progress on the nursery. The replacement for the carpet we tore out has been chosen, ordered and delivered to the garage. The aluminum window I tore out has been replaced with a wood window to match those in the rest of the house. The popcorn I scraped off the ceiling has been re-taped, sanded smooth and painted cream. The golden yellow paint has been chosen and applied to the walls. The closet that was determined to be 'wholly inadequate' was torn out, redesigned, and custom built over the last 4-weeks at Canyon Creek Cabinets and will be delivered Thursday morning to be installed next Saturday. After that, the carpet installer will be scheduled to put in the flooring and Cheri will fill his little drawers and closet with clothes, blankets and diapers. I will get his crib assembled and sew the pieces of his quilt into a blanket. His rocker is scheduled to arrive next week and he will follow some time in the next 2 to 7 weeks.
