Annual Pilgrimage

Here are some pics from our recent trip to see the Cherry Blossoms at the University of Washington Quad. Our trip was short this year due to rainy weather and a tired boy who was more interested in the ongoing remodeling of one of the Quad buildings than the blossoms. There was lots of good banging and clanking going on and he stood listening at the construction fence for a good 5-10 minutes. He also engaged in his latest passion by "jumping" out of the tree into Cheri's arms. He's very determined to go it on his own these days as demonstrated by his insisting that he ride his bike up the stairs in the attached video clip.
