Boy Humor

Naively, we thought that we might be spared some of the typical "boy humor" that centers on various bodily functions and the like seeing as neither of us are prone to discussing such matters. Apparently such humor is deeply rooted somewhere in male DNA as demonstrated by a recent bed time conversation Alton had with Cheri.

After lights are out and Alton is in his bed, he likes us to sit in the rocker by his bed for "2 minutes" before we tip toe out for the night. Sometimes he requests a lullaby, but on this particular night it was quiet for the 1st minute and then he started laughing...not just any laugh, but his mischievous laugh.

"Why are you laughing, Alton?"
"Binky lost", he replied
"Where did your binky go"....a giggle...silence...another giggle...
"Down pants"! he exclaimed
"Down pants"? a puzzled Mama replied
"Down pants - can't find it"
So, dutifully, Cheri went over to the crib, where she could see he was definitely smiling mischievously. After fishing down his flannel PJ bottoms, sure enough, there was the binky lodged deliberately in his crotch! Now he's laughing loudly!
"Here's your binky, night night now" Mama says trying her best not to laugh along with him thus reinforcing this new game.
"Sit in chair - 2 minutes", he baits.....
