Scooting Boy
Alton can scoot himself backwards off his blanket using only his arms. Once he hits the hard wood floors the moves right along like a little swifter mop.
This is as close as he ever got to these cups as he turned when he was backing and caught sight of them in his peripheral vision.
Increased efforts to get closer involve more vigorous arm movement and the resulting backwards progression.
Finally he found himself wedged under the hutch like a remote control car that gets stuck in a corner. Similarly, he must be picked up and rotated so he can proceed along.

Pretty soon he'll be running around the house. Cherish these scooty days!
