Language Explosion

Alton continues to be extremely verbal. He talks to himself on my old cell phone all day as he bustles around the house. He brings us books to read to him a couple times each hour and he loves his Signing Time videos that he requests as a wind-down activity before naps and bedtime. He is adding new signs and words to his vocabulary daily. Below are his 14-month-old communication options:

SIGNS
Alex (his request for his Signing Time with Alex and Leah video), Ball, Bath, Bird, Book, Bye-bye, Clean-up, Dog, Eat, Fish, Flower, Hat, Hot, Hurt, Light, Mama, More, Milk, Music, Nite nite, Please, Stop, Thank you, Water

SPOKEN WORDS
Alex, Bird, Boo, Caca, Cheese, Cow, Dog, Duck, Ear, Eye, Go, Hat, Hello, Hot, Hi, Kitty, Light, Mama, More, Nite nite, No no, Num num, Oht oh, Ouch, Stop, Truck, Up, and Yuck. Plus, various animal noises like meow, neigh, moo, whoo whoo, and roar…

Late in the day update: Add Cracker to his list of signs and Help followed by the sign Please to his vocabulary for today! Thats my boy!
