Knock, Knock
We are definitely beginning to experience the influence of the "older boys" at school. Tara, Alton's teacher, reports that Alton adores the 5-6 year old boys who are in his class and often joins them in their games.
Out of the blue during a recent bath, Alton started saying "knock, knock, pause, knock, knock, pause, knock, knock".
I wondered, is he trying to tell me a "knock, knock" joke? So I tentatively ventured "who's there?"
He replied, "Alton"
"Alton who?"
"Alton Briar!" was his triumphant response!
His eyes twinkled and he giggled non-stop through another 15 gyrations of his "knock, knock" joke. (i.e. Alton Liam, Alton Liam Briar, Alton Alton....etc.)
I certainly didn't think we'd have to endure 5-6 year old humor this early!
